Monaco Company Inc. was founded in 1990 by Henry Hamad, a Mechanical Engineer educated in London, UK with a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA.

After spending 4 years working in Saudi Arabia in the construction field, Mr. Hamad joined Awdeh & Co., a real estate development firm in Boston, MA. At that time, Awdeh & Co. had construction projects in San Diego, CA, Myrtle Beach, SC, White Plains NY as well as several projects in Massachusetts mainly in Brookline, Allston, Hingham and Hull.

Mr. Hamad's first assignment with Awdeh & Co. was as an Owner's Representative and field engineer on a 10 million dollar project in Myrtle Beach, SC ( Sheraton Myrtle Beach Resort), then once the project was completed, transferred to the main office in Boston as a project Engineer and later on promoted to Construction Manager.

As a result of this vast experience and having been on both sides of the fence (the owners side and the contractor's side) Henry Hamad through the Monaco Co. is uniquely positioned to deliver outstanding quality, on-time performance and on budget completion.
